Prudential is hiring a Vice President, Solution Architecture Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Lead and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
  • Ability to translate and communicate sophisticated technical solutions and emerging industry trends in understandable terms to a broad range of audiences
  • Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivery of mission-critical data platforms in large international environments
  • AWS application and data architecture, including typical Data Lake / Lakehouse patterns
  • Full Stack application development
  • Modern CI/CD practices including automated code quality and unit testing tooling
  • Proven track record of delivering technological solutions in international markets, balancing local needs and flexibility with global capabilities

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields
  • Experience with Claude Code or similar Agentic development tools
  • Prior experience supporting technology for users in Japan
  • Microsoft Fabric familiarity
