Senior DevOps Engineer at Kiefer – Join as the first dedicated infrastructure engineer for the Sophea platform. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping and standardizing the foundation of a modern, AI-native system running on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Standardize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Helm charts across 10+ microservices
- Build centralized logging, metrics, and alerting systems from the ground up
- Extend Terraform to manage full AWS infrastructure as code
- Improve deployment reliability with staging environments, rollback strategies, and health checks
- Strengthen security via container scanning, secrets management, and network policies
- Enhance local development using Docker Compose for full-service orchestration
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of professional DevOps or infrastructure engineering
- Strong Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm expertise
- Production experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tools
- Deep AWS knowledge (ECR, EKS, App Runner, S3, CloudFront, IAM)
- Proven CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions preferred)
- Experience building observability for distributed systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux)
- MLOps experience with model serving and GPU workloads
- Kafka operational management
- Cloud cost optimization
- Python/Bash scripting for automation
