Medline Industries, LP is hiring a Production Associate - 1st Shift to ensure packaging lines run efficiently, safely, and productively while maintaining high quality standards. This role is central to meeting our daily production goals.
What You'll Do
- Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Process (cGMP).
- Load packaging lines with the correct lot of sterilized product, syringe film, and plastic film.
- Perform visual inspection of product running through the packaging line.
- Remove any syringes considered rejects per standard operating procedures.
- Maintain Quality Standards (Inserts, Inner and Master Label reconciliation).
- Ensure correct syringe size/fill, labels, lot/expiration, plastic wrap, box sizes, and components are used with consistent quality checks.
- Prepare inner and outer boxes.
- Verify syringe counts as required during completion of inner boxes.
- Understand machine alarms and how to proceed.
- Aid in meeting daily/weekly/monthly production requirements in accordance with company goals.
- Keep line running at a minimum of 165 PPMs/min.
- Work with safety and quality in mind.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English.
- Basic Math skills.
- Ability to make logical decisions, often quickly.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work daily overtime (2-3 hours) on regular basis up to 6 days a week.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the department most of the time.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds approximately 50% of the time.
- Ability to visually inspect and clearly identify defects in the product for all of the time working.
- Ability to comply with PPE requirements (ear protection, hair nets, beard/mustache covers, gloves, goggles, protective shoes).
- Must be in position for at least 6 months with no NCMR's or 'unplanned deviations' for 6 months.
Nice to Have
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Experience with hand tools.

- Compensation: $17.75 - $24.00 Hourly.
