Responsibilities
- Support live and recorded content through diverse technical production duties
- Manage control room functions using Ross Overdrive and Xpression systems
- Operate remote-controlled cameras during broadcasts
- Adjust audio levels and ensure sound quality
- Edit video content for broadcast and digital platforms
- Maintain and organize studio production facilities
- Coordinate electronic news gathering (ENG) remote operations
- Establish and monitor live field transmissions
- Track and identify locations of field crews in real time
- Set up and manage communication pathways for broadcast teams
- Assemble and modify newscast segments during production
- Ingest video footage and commercial content into broadcast systems
- Support automated production systems such as Ross Cambots, Ross Overdrive, and Xpression
- Take part in live and recorded field productions for special events
- Operate handheld and ENG-style cameras in field settings
- Assist with cellular-based bonded transmission setups
- Prepare and configure production equipment for live and recorded shows
- Monitor broadcast quality and participate in quality assurance checks
- Ensure all systems are ready for on-air operations
- Conduct pre-broadcast equipment testing and diagnostics
- Actively maintain and service production studios
- Service and maintain broadcast equipment including studio cameras, set components, lighting, and audio systems
