As a Product Specialist, you will shape the future of digital payments in the South Cone region—covering Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia. You'll define the long-term direction for local payment solutions, ensuring they meet both merchant demands and broader business objectives. Your role bridges market insights with product execution, guiding initiatives from concept through to launch and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the strategic vision for payment products tailored to regional needs while aligning with global goals
- Represent the product across internal teams, translating local dynamics into actionable priorities
- Conduct in-depth research to uncover customer challenges, competitive trends, and innovation opportunities
- Collaborate with commercial, legal, finance, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions
- Manage end-to-end product development, from ideation and testing to rollout and optimization
- Design and execute go-to-market plans, including training, messaging, and performance tracking
- Analyze key metrics such as transaction volume, revenue, and margins to guide improvements
- Develop data-driven business cases to prioritize product investments and inform leadership decisions
What You Bring
- Proven background in product management or strategy, particularly in fintech, payments, or high-growth tech environments
- Familiarity with payment systems—including acquirers, issuers, alternative payment methods, and regulatory frameworks
- Strong business sense with the ability to link product choices to financial outcomes and market impact
- Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is an advantage
- Experience working across global, cross-functional teams in diverse cultural settings
- Hands-on expertise in discovery methods, stakeholder coordination, and backlog prioritization
- Clear, persuasive communication skills that foster alignment and drive action
