Medline Industries, LP is hiring a Product Sales Specialist for our Remedy & Readycare product division. This remote position covers the West Coast and requires a professional to execute sales strategies, achieve targets, and act as the primary product expert supporting our sales force. You will play a key role in driving growth and customer adoption.
What You'll Do
- Develop target lists of potential accounts in partnership with sales representatives.
- Support the execution of the overall product strategy and go-to-market approach.
- Conduct and deliver business reviews alongside Division Product Management.
- Prepare and present technical and clinical proposals demonstrating how Medline's products meet customer needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and external stakeholders.
- Deliver in-depth product presentations and demonstrations to clients and sales teams.
- Facilitate all phases from program creation and trial support through to full implementation.
- Assist Medline sales representatives with product questions via email, phone, or in person.
- Conduct physical product conversions when divisional support is required.
- Develop and conduct customer in-services and technical training sessions.
- Create product training materials and resources for internal and external use.
- Monitor, analyze, and address quality inquiries or customer complaints.
- Perform market research to identify and track emerging trends.
- Provide actionable feedback and recommendations for product improvements and potential new products.
- Collaborate with clients to track their metrics and product utilization.
- Track sales forecast targets and diligently record all activity on accounts.
- Serve as the internal product expert, contributing to technical presentations and product strategy discussions.
- Engage with professional organizations and attend industry events and technical training classes.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in a business or clinical field.
- At least 2 years of experience in product management, product development, or sales.
- Demonstrated foundational knowledge of products, customers, and market needs.
- Ability to analyze market trends to develop presentations, provide strategic recommendations, and perform business forecasting.
- Proven experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and facilitating groups to solve complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability to assess situations and initiate actions independently.
- Strong time management skills for handling multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to audiences of varying technical levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time for business purposes.
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours during in-services, which may include weekends or multiple shifts.
