Responsibilities
- Develop digital models that accurately reflect real-world product behavior
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to capture product specifications
- Translate mechanical and electrical attributes into computational formats
- Validate models against empirical data and adjust for fidelity
- Maintain version-controlled model repositories
- Optimize models for performance in simulation environments
- Document modeling assumptions, constraints, and limitations
- Support integration of models into testing and deployment pipelines
- Identify gaps in model accuracy and lead improvement efforts
- Work closely with QA to ensure model reliability
- Stay current with advancements in modeling frameworks and physics engines
- Contribute to model reuse across product lines
- Participate in technical reviews and peer feedback sessions
- Troubleshoot model-related issues in production systems
- Ensure compliance with internal modeling standards
