About the Role

Giesecke+Devrient – SecurityTech is looking for a hands-on Product Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts for our payment cards and digital payments business in the US market. This is a hybrid role where you will be pivotal in driving local growth while also taking on a global lead for marketing our Transit-card and Enterprise access solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Provide hands-on product marketing with full responsibility and a lead role in the US, adapting product collaterals, executing content marketing, and managing digital campaigns.
  • Drive global Product Marketing for Transit-cards and Enterprise access solutions to foster growth in these adjacent fields.
  • Contribute to strategic marketing, including market positioning, value proposition development, and client segmentation.
  • Work closely with global Portfolio Management and international marketing colleagues to distribute and localize global content for the US market.
  • Define and execute local product marketing strategies, plans, and initiatives for selected business domains in the US, selecting suitable directions from the global marketing plan.
  • Adapt product collaterals, sales assets, and lead generation campaigns per local business requirements while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Contribute to global marketing efforts by developing US customer success stories and case studies.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for the local production of marketing collateral such as brochures and trade show materials.
  • Coordinate PR and digital campaigns, with a focus on LinkedIn, and manage organic Social Media posts.
  • Manage the local marketing budget for the US.
  • Create and manage local customer events, including webinars, in-house events, and participation in selected industry conferences.
  • Maintain close alignment with local sales teams and global portfolio and product marketing stakeholders.
  • Mentor and enable local Sales teams to proactively leverage Social Media, especially LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
  • Serve as an individual contributor and expert, collaborating intensively in networks with marketing, portfolio, sales colleagues, and external partners.
  • Handle global roles within payments, such as coordinating ICMA card awards applications and managing a global podcast.
  • Contribute to customer segmentation, product positioning, competition analysis, and go-to-market strategy definition for Transit and Enterprise domains.
  • Define and execute global product marketing strategies for Transit and Enterprise domains, including the creation and alignment of product collaterals and sales assets.
  • Use AI tools to generate high-quality posts, articles, and case studies.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years of Product Marketing experience in a B2B global enterprise within the Payment or Enterprise sector, specifically in Marketing Planning with cross-functional and central alignment.
  • Experience in stakeholder and service center alignment for Social Media management and Digital Marketing.
  • Proven experience using AI-tools, especially Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Strong LinkedIn experience, personal engagement, and passion are essential.
  • Ability to coordinate and drive projects across multiple teams and geographies.
  • Ability to deliver compelling messaging of G+D’s value proposition to internal teams and customers.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in an international environment.
  • Native-level English proficiency with strong communication and writing skills.
  • Outcome-oriented with a focus on achievement.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business is preferred.
  • Alternatively, for exceptional candidates, relevant Sales or Business Development experience may be considered.
  • Experience gained in the retail banking, retail payments, financial, or software industry is a strong benefit.
