PHH Peak Health Holdings is seeking a Product Manager to join the Central Product Management team at PlayStation Studios. In this hybrid/remote role within the UK, you’ll collaborate with a small central team and partners across analytics and marketing to help build, launch, and manage successful live service games while supporting studios in developing their embedded product management capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Support product management across multiple live and upcoming PlayStation Studios titles to build capabilities and successfully launch and manage live service games.
- Work closely with cross-functional groups across analytics, marketing, and studio partners to assess systems and mechanics driving retention and monetization.
- Write and assess design specs and mockups, identify risks, and create mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with game designers to translate creative vision into hypotheses, measurable goals, and KPIs, evaluating performance with analytics and product teams.
- Use data to influence design and business priorities to enhance long-term player satisfaction.
- Communicate performance results and actionable recommendations to product and studio stakeholders, connecting player experience to business outcomes.
- Highlight opportunities for product performance growth and support improvement initiatives with analysis and reporting.
- Provide hands-on support to studios across core competencies from feature design to live content, performance reporting, and market knowledge.
- Share best practices to help game studios evolve their processes and capabilities.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in product management for live service games.
- Ability to understand, conceptualize, and abstract the design of game systems, features, and mechanics to provide recommendations.
- Experience writing and reviewing feature design documentation and assessing impact on game economy, monetization, retention, and player experience.
- Data fluency and experience partnering with analytics, research, and insights groups.
- Solid grasp of statistics, hypothesis testing, and experimental design for live game features.
- Proven business and market awareness with analytical capabilities, using data to inform decisions.
- Social intelligence, great interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and empathy for creative teams.
- Working knowledge of different game types, genres, and business models (F2P, premium, cosmetic economy, etc.).
- Experience working with publishing partners (marketing, release management, store, etc.).
- Deep passion for games and ability to evaluate and break down the components of a successful live game.
Nice to Have
- Experience preferably on AAA Console/PC titles.
