Whatnot is looking for a Product Manager, Ads & Promos to lead the strategy and execution for these essential growth tools for sellers. You will guide the next phase of growth for marketing tools that empower sellers to grow on Whatnot and drive tangible business impact.

What You'll Do

Design and lead the product roadmap and strategy for Ads & Promos tools, balancing short and long-term goals.
Engage regularly as a trusted advisor with leadership to understand their strategies, pain points, and priorities to inform product strategy.
Define product requirements and work with engineering, design and broader team to bring our roadmap to market.
Deeply understand and own the Ads & Promos ecosystem including seller budgeting strategies, ROI/ROAS, attribution, pricing, auction dynamics, and best practices.
Drive development of core ad systems including ad ranking algorithms, bidding, targeting engines, pricing mechanisms, and impression supply forecasting.
Deliver actionable metrics and dashboards to help sellers adopt and optimize marketing spend across Ads & Promos.
Lead global expansion of Ads & Promos tools, with emphasis on adoption and ease-of-use.

What We're Looking For

7+ years of product management experience.
A focus on ads or monetization.
Experience working in the ads and/or promotions domain, especially in an ecommerce marketplace.
Experience leveraging AI and ML to build products that deliver outsized impact for users and marketers.
Comfortable designing for real-time systems like streaming data pipelines, event-driven triggers, and live experimentation environments.
Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, identify trade-offs, and make decisions with limited information in high-pressure situations.
Proven ability to develop sound research methodologies and collect, synthesize, analyze, and interpret data.
Experienced in design, and hypothesis driven product development.
Deep empathy for users and a passion for delivering outstanding user experiences.
