Responsibilities
- Own a specific product area: requirements, backlog management, prioritization, scope decisions, releases, and outcomes.
- Partner on technical decisions with engineering: architecture, feasibility, trade-offs. Challenge estimates that don't add up.
- Bridge users and engineers: translate operational readiness problems into product requirements through direct user research.
- Contribute to platform evolution: R&D work across data ontology management, agent orchestration (MCP/A2A), generative interfaces.
- Support delivery operations: ensure the product reduces manual effort across contract types and deployment models.
- Communicate clearly: demos, PRDs, cross-functional alignment. You are the connective tissue.
Requirements
- Eligibility to acquire and maintain a US Security Clearance (requires US Citizenship)
- CS degree (or equivalent technical degree)
- 2+ years of product management experience shipping software in agile environments
- Comfortable reading code, reviewing architecture, and holding your own in technical discussions
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI/ML products, defense/government tech, or classified environments (SIPR/NIPR)
- Startup experience, especially navigating the scalability and automation phase
- Platform product experience: technical interfaces (APIs, SDKs) alongside standard web apps
- 1-2 years of software engineering experience
