APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is hiring a Product Manager to own product planning and execution from ideation to obsolescence. In this role, you will define the product vision, gather requirements, and collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and production teams to foster profitable growth and increase market share.
What You'll Do
- Lead product development projects from concept ideation through to completion.
- Work with sales, customers, and internal teams to formulate new product development strategies for your assigned category.
- Brainstorm and develop new product development roadmaps by product category.
- Create project briefs and scope documents to define new product development initiatives.
- Lead and support cross-functional project teams on development, engineering, costing, pricing, manufacturing, planning, and marketing for new product introductions and updates.
- Monitor market conditions to determine optimal product positioning and pricing by channel.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle for each category, making phase-in and phase-out decisions.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain on managing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Manage the product database.
- Serve as the product expert regarding competitive analysis.
- Work with manufacturing and product development to set initial product specifications and support quality control on major warranty issues.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales, operations, product development, or a related role.
- Knowledge of basic business software such as Microsoft Office.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Innate desire to learn about all aspects of the product development process.
- Ability to travel up to 35% overnight domestically.
