Arc'teryx is looking for a Senior Product Line Manager to create the long-range vision and seasonal assortments for assigned product categories. You will define strategies that align with global merchandising goals and bring innovative solutions to market.
What You'll Do
- Create short-term merchandising strategies (1–2-year plans) across all business units for your categories
- Build and oversee the execution of the merchandising strategy for your product categories
- Mentor, train, and support Associate PLMs and PLMs across your team
- Deliver on the 5-year brand vision by hitting global sales, gross margin, and inventory productivity goals
- Determine and manage the product lifecycle for each model, from development to commercialization and retirement
- Partner on overall strategic direction for seasonal selling plans
- Provide a global product framework and assortment structure to guide merchant execution
- Research and analyze the global marketplace to identify consumer and market insights
- Write and present product briefs for new category strategies and seasonal storytelling
- Develop a close relationship with Design and Development teams during the seasonal design process
- Develop and deliver product presentations for key calendar touchpoints
- Maintain effective partnerships with Visual Merchandising, Brand Marketing, and Colour teams
- Own global go-to-market product knowledge and provide sell-in tools to Commercial teams
- Uphold Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor throughout the supply chain
What We're Looking For
- 5-8+ years in outdoor retail, customer service, merchandising, product development, or buying roles
- 2+ years experience leading a team or function
- Excellent knowledge of sell-through, calculating cost of goods, and the open-to-buy process
- Highly organized with effective time management
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills to facilitate work across internal departments and external partners
- A proven track record in developing and leading a team to execute a multi-year business strategy
- Excellent understanding of the active apparel market within the outdoor industry
- Excellent understanding of the design and development process
- Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
- Willing and able to travel as required for trade shows, presentations, and events
- Proactive in identifying root causes and developing solutions
- Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- Ability to effectively balance autonomy and collaboration

Team & Environment
The Product Line Management (PLM) team is responsible for determining and delivering the right product, at the right place, at the right time. This high-performing team works closely with the Design and Product Creation Development teams and partners with the Costing and Sourcing teams.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: CAD$108,000 - CAD$135,000
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based in North Vancouver, Canada.
