About the Role
Lead the design and delivery of product-driven engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment between technical architecture, user requirements, and business goals in a high-impact healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Direct the end-to-end development lifecycle for core product features
- Collaborate with product managers to define roadmap priorities and technical feasibility
- Mentor and grow engineers through regular feedback and career development
- Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, and system reliability
- Drive technical decision-making across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
- Translate clinical and operational workflows into scalable software solutions
- Lead incident response and post-mortem reviews to improve system resilience
- Work closely with UX designers to ensure intuitive and accessible interfaces
- Evaluate and integrate third-party tools and APIs relevant to healthcare systems
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards such as HIPAA
- Optimize deployment pipelines for speed and safety in production environments
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Monitor key engineering metrics and report on team performance
- Coordinate with clinical stakeholders to validate solution effectiveness
- Balance innovation with technical debt reduction across the codebase
