Responsibilities
- Own problems end‑to‑end: from understanding the need to shipping the solution.
- Design pragmatic architecture before jumping into implementation.
- Use AI tools aggressively to accelerate development and iteration, while reviewing and correcting AI‑generated code.
- Make smart build‑vs‑integrate decisions under time pressure.
- Ensure code is safe, maintainable, and performant (including SQL queries and critical paths).
Requirements
- Solid, hands‑on experience with modern web architectures.
- Solid, hands‑on experience with APIs, integrations, webhooks.
- Solid, hands‑on experience with distributed systems or high‑load applications.
- Solid, hands‑on experience with production software — not just prototypes.
- Practical experience with React (or similar modern frontend framework).
- Practical experience with Laravel/PHP in production backends.
- Practical experience with MySQL (or similar relational databases), including understanding of query performance and optimization.
- Ability to reason about code safety and maintainability.
- Ability to reason about performance characteristics of the systems they design, especially database‑heavy parts.
