As a Technical Staff, Product Development Management at Dell Technologies, you will lead high-complexity product development through the full lifecycle, driving solution readiness and cross-functional collaboration. You will define processes, manage risks, and mentor team members in program management practices within a fast-paced, innovative environment based in Taipei, Taiwan.
What You'll Do
- Define the product/solution development lifecycle process to be implemented throughout the organization
- Ensure dependency and deliverable tracking across products/solutions/functions
- Define the program risk management plan and drive mitigation and resolutions
- Drive consistent and accurate cross-functional program metrics
- Plan corporate initiatives (Federal, Security, Globalization)
- Exercise considerable latitude in shaping technical goals
- Collaborate with and mentor team members in designing program management practices
- Manage high-complexity products through the entire lifecycle
- Drive solution and release readiness
- Gather best practices from across portfolios and business units
- Liaise with other departments on technical matters
- Lead and deliver the entire lifecycle from product definition and planning through to production and release
- Oversee modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the product or product line
What We're Looking For
- 20 years of related experience in a professional role
- Excellent knowledge and application of engineering concepts along with effective problem-solving ability
- Solid understanding of the business environment and competition
- Ability to manage, motivate, and direct a cross-functional workgroup; and drive successful negotiations
- Solid interpersonal and presentation skills
