UnitedHealth Group / Optum is hiring a Product Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Lead one or two agile teams, overseeing Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and Program Increment planning to meet roadmap deadlines
  • Take full ownership of delivering designated features in line with strategic priorities and timelines
  • Manage the full lifecycle of product features, from initial concept and design through development, testing, and deployment
  • Gather, assess, and document product requirements from stakeholders; validate proposed designs and solutions for alignment, ensuring user needs are directly addressed
  • Work with design teams to build intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly interface mockups
  • Write clear, detailed user stories using Gherkin syntax, complete with defined acceptance criteria to guide engineering
  • Collaborate closely with operations and cross-functional groups to maintain transparency; lead weekly stakeholder check-ins and deliver progress updates
  • Support QA efforts by managing defect tracking and supervising User Acceptance Testing to ensure clean releases
  • Produce clear, actionable release notes and feature documentation for internal and external use
  • Develop training materials such as user guides and in-app walkthroughs, and lead training sessions to support feature adoption
  • Promote agile best practices and drive process improvements to increase team efficiency and product quality
  • Respond quickly to support team inquiries and help resolve user issues in a timely manner
  • Adhere to employment terms, company policies, and management directives, including changes in work location, team assignments, shifts, remote work options, and other operational adjustments as determined by the company
