Optum Tech, part of UnitedHealth Group, is looking for a Product Analyst to lead agile teams in delivering product features from ideation to release. You will own the complete lifecycle of assigned features, ensuring alignment with roadmap priorities and user needs.
What You'll Do
- Lead one or two agile teams, ensuring effective execution of Scrum events, sprint planning, and PI planning to deliver roadmap commitments on time.
- Take full accountability for the delivery of assigned features in alignment with roadmap priorities and timelines.
- Own the complete lifecycle of assigned product features from ideation and design through development, testing, and release.
- Collect, analyze, and document product requirements based on stakeholder inputs. Validate designs and solutions with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Maintain Zero Distance from End Users by designing features that directly address user needs and pain points.
- Collaborate with design teams to create intuitive, simple, and user-friendly wireframes that enhance usability and efficiency.
- Develop clear and detailed user stories in Gherkin format, including well-defined acceptance criteria to guide development.
- Partner closely with operations and cross-functional teams to ensure transparency and timely updates. Facilitate weekly stakeholder meetings and provide regular progress reports.
- Work with QA teams to manage defect resolution and oversee User Acceptance Testing for smooth releases.
- Prepare comprehensive release notes and feature documentation that are clear, actionable, and easy to understand.
- Create user guides, in-app tutorials, and conduct training sessions to drive adoption and ensure successful rollout of new features.
- Champion best practices and process improvements within agile teams to enhance delivery efficiency and product quality.
- Respond promptly to queries raised by the Support team and ensure timely resolution of issues.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, or product management within a technology-driven environment.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum frameworks, including managing or supporting agile teams.
- Exposure to US healthcare technology, risk adjustment, or coding platforms is a solid advantage.
- Solid understanding of product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in writing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria (Gherkin format preferred).
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar agile project management tools.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate on wireframes.
- Understanding of data-driven decision-making and ability to interpret analytics.
Nice to Have
- Certification in Agile (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) or similar frameworks.
- Experience with AI-driven products or automation workflows.
- Knowledge of risk adjustment coding and compliance requirements.
- Comfortable working in a global delivery model with onshore/offshore collaboration.
