Responsibilities
- Own release management cycles end-to-end, coordinating across development, QA, and stakeholders to ensure smooth, predictable delivery
- Coordinate communication between engineering, product, design, and QA—keeping everyone aligned and moving forward
- Manage sprint planning, agile ceremonies, and milestone tracking across one or more teams
- Identify risks and dependencies early, working with leads to resolve issues before they become blockers
- Balance competing priorities across feature development, quality, and platform needs
- Provide clear status updates to leadership, translating development complexity into business impact
Requirements
- 4+ years of production experience managing cross-functional teams through full development or release cycles
- Strong organizational skills to structure ambiguous work, maintain forward momentum, and keep multiple workstreams on track
- Comfort working closely with engineering teams—you don't need to write code, but you understand how software gets built and shipped
- Track record of shipping features and releases on schedule through proactive risk management and dependency tracking
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience in release management, live operations, or publishing pipelines
- Background in edtech, learning platforms, or student-facing applications
- Familiarity with agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, etc.) and development pipeline best practices
- Exposure to game development or interactive media production
