Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing activities for battery energy storage and solar generation equipment across the full procurement lifecycle.
- Oversee active contracts for battery and solar equipment, including coordination of auxiliary services such as quality assurance, logistics, temporary storage, and safe harbor compliance.
- Define category direction by aligning market insights, project requirements, and risk factors into actionable procurement plans.
- Direct high-value commercial negotiations for equipment supply and construction services, ensuring successful implementation.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership on supplier selection based on cost, performance, risk, quality, and environmental, social, and governance factors.
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers and contractors, maintaining expert-level knowledge of vendor performance and market positioning.
- Create and maintain market intelligence dashboards covering upstream, midstream, and downstream segments of the battery and solar supply chains.
- Support project development by delivering procurement insights and total cost of ownership analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, legal, and development teams to align on technology choices, vendor selection, and system design.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes by designing tools and systems that enhance efficiency, visibility, and scalability.
- Perform additional tasks as required by the organization.
