Love's Travel Stops is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join our Construction and Remodels department. Your role is crucial to ensuring purchases are completed efficiently and consistently according to established procedures. We need a candidate with outstanding customer service and organizational skills who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
What You'll Do
- Receive, generate, and manage supplier quotes, statements of work, purchase orders, addendums, and all procurement-related documents.
- Distribute materials to management and corporate departments for review, approval, and secure storage.
- Support negotiating pricing and defining terms for procurement agreements.
- Collaborate closely with vendors to guarantee prompt and accurate order fulfillment.
- Communicate purchase status updates to internal customers to ensure timely product delivery.
- Troubleshoot logistics, inventory management, and supply chain issues for resolution.
- Work with Accounting, Tax, and Fixed Assets regarding Project Codes for proper PO coding.
- Build parts in Material Master and submit for approval.
- Manage weekly VIM Exception and Workflow ICG queues to ensure efficient invoice processing.
- Report weekly on open purchase orders and invoices for Accounts Payable Procure-to-Pay reconciliation.
- Comprehend process workflows, identify enhancement opportunities, and implement standards to improve efficiency.
- Analyze architectural plans and clearly report any design inconsistencies.
- Evaluate weekly project status reports to monitor progress and identify areas requiring attention.
- Provide support with software-related tasks as required.
- Handle special projects as designated.
What We're Looking For
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in procurement.
- SAP experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Excel.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Background in Construction or Hospitality is beneficial.
