Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle procurement tasks including sourcing, supplier evaluation, contract coordination, and performance monitoring for indirect categories such as vehicles, insurance, professional services, marketing, consultancy, office supplies, and general operations.
- Assist in conducting RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) with clear documentation and effective communication to ensure supplier responsiveness.
- Support negotiation efforts covering pricing, payment terms, service level agreements, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Identify and contribute to initiatives that improve procurement efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Help implement procurement strategies and continuous improvement projects aligned with team goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of professional or internship experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain functions.
- Foundational knowledge of procurement workflows and sourcing methodologies.
- Native-level English proficiency or certified C2 level in English language.
- Advanced proficiency in computer applications and digital tools.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and a proactive learning attitude.
- Team-focused, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, flexible, and able to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Nice to Have
- Prior exposure to RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) is advantageous.
- Experience with procurement software or e-sourcing platforms is a benefit.
- Holding LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certification is a plus.
- Awareness of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and tools like ChatGPT in procurement contexts.
- ECDL Advanced certification is desirable.

Other
- All individuals assigned to the SELT service must complete a Background Check acceptable to both the company and the Home Office (HO) before starting duties.
- All SELT staff must submit a declaration disclosing any criminal record or bankruptcy as provided by the company.
- For UK-based SELT roles, background checks include: basic or enhanced DBS check, Right to Work verification, HO security clearance (BPSS or CTC), financial background review, and employment reference checks.
- For SELT roles outside the UK, personnel will undergo background checks equivalent in scope and rigor to those required in the UK.
- Personnel interacting with SELT candidates must demonstrate strong English language proficiency and, outside the UK, fluency in the official language of the respective country.
