About the Role
The selected candidate will support procurement strategy development, conduct spend analysis, identify cost-saving opportunities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for key categories
- Conduct market research to evaluate supplier capabilities and pricing models
- Lead supplier negotiations to achieve favorable contract terms
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements
- Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities and savings achievements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Support the implementation of procurement software tools and systems
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate risks associated with supply chain disruptions
- Assist in developing supplier diversity initiatives
- Track and report on key performance indicators for procurement operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in procurement workflows
- Manage requests for proposals and quotations from vendors
- Facilitate onboarding of new suppliers
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for sourcing decisions
- Support sustainability goals through responsible sourcing practices
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Contribute to audits and internal reviews of procurement activities
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in business or supply chain management
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
- Experience with e-procurement platforms
- Fluency in a second language
- Background in regulated industries such as healthcare or manufacturing
