As a Process Engineer, you will lead the development of engineering deliverables for both tendering and active projects in the oil and gas or water treatment industries. Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, your work will directly influence the technical integrity and efficiency of onshore and offshore operations.
What You'll Do
Develop process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and heat and material balances using specialized engineering software. Perform detailed calculations to size critical process equipment, including systems for seawater treatment and offshore injection. Support project teams through all phases, from bidding to execution, by responding to client inquiries and resolving technical feedback.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project timelines and technical standards. Provide on-site and remote technical support during commissioning and initial operations. Ensure all deliverables align with Health & Safety protocols, ISO9001-2015 requirements, and risk management practices. Contribute to safety meetings and maintain rigorous attention to change control processes.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical & Process Engineering
- Be a professional member of IChemE
- Demonstrate experience in engineering design, procurement, and construction for upstream or offshore oil and gas, or water treatment facilities
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Applications
- Show strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master’s degree is preferred for more senior responsibilities
