Responsibilities
- Evaluate regional and product-level sales and revenue against forecasts to assess performance
- Detect market and product trends, assessing profitability and tracking indicators like sales growth, margins, market share, and marketing campaign returns
- Offer strategic input on pricing and promotional activities to boost revenue and expand market presence
- Monitor and interpret financial outcomes of sales operations, delivering regular KPI reporting
- Collaborate with plant finance teams to analyze cost of goods sold and explain margin fluctuations
- Oversee operating expense tracking and verify consistency with budget targets
- Gain in-depth understanding of data systems and sources to serve as a technical expert
- Support the design of advanced analytics methods, including improved dashboards and reporting tools
- Convert detailed financial data into practical business recommendations and advocate for data accuracy improvements
- Work closely with the General Manager to deliver financial guidance and align operations with profit and growth goals
- Assess sales performance using dashboards and regional reports to pinpoint achievements, gaps, and corrective steps
- Coordinate with multiple finance units including manufacturing, business unit, and corporate teams for strategic coherence
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management by challenging assumptions and offering financial insights on key projects
- Drive the execution of corporate initiatives and processes within the business unit
- Lead the development and management of target planning and rolling forecast cycles to promote forward-looking decision-making
- Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports and materials for executive board meetings
- Build financial models to evaluate potential business opportunities, capital expenditures, and strategic ventures
