Manifest Law is seeking a Pro Bono Practice Immigration Attorney to help establish and lead our pro bono immigration practice. As a mission-driven company reimagining immigration law, we need an attorney who will conduct consultations for deportation and asylum matters, assess eligibility, and provide clear legal guidance to individuals in need.

What You'll Do

• Conduct consultations with individuals seeking legal advice related to asylum and deportation matters.
• Explain eligibility standards, evidentiary requirements, risks, and timelines in clear, accessible language.
• Provide practical recommendations regarding next steps and manage client expectations.
• Conduct risk analysis based on current law and agency guidance.
• Make informed decisions regarding case acceptance within the pro bono framework.
• Help establish intake criteria and consultation standards.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure compliance and quality control.
• Support the development of structured workflows for the pro bono practice.

What We're Looking For

• Active membership in good standing with the Arizona Bar.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience practicing immigration law, with extensive asylum and deportation experience.
• Demonstrated experience handling or advising on asylum and deportation matters.
• Strong consultation skills and ability to assess cases efficiently and accurately.
• Working knowledge of evidentiary standards, country conditions analysis, and credibility considerations.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a remote environment with autonomy.
