The Lawrenceville School is seeking a temporary Private Lesson Instructor to provide music lessons to students within our school community. This role involves planning and delivering individual instruction, motivating students, and collaborating with the Performing Arts Private Instruction Program Coordinator.
What You'll Do
- Plan and prepare lessons tailored to individual student needs and examinations.
- Acquire appropriate teaching materials and resources.
- Plan, schedule, and execute private, individual instruction on your primary instrument or voice.
- Motivate students and encourage their progress.
- Work directly with the Performing Arts Private Instruction Program Coordinator for planning and management needs.
What We're Looking For
- A Music Degree.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize and correct errors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience providing private, individual instruction on your primary instrument or voice.
