This role blends private equity, business acquisition, real estate underwriting, financial operations, and strategic planning.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain a comprehensive net-worth and liquidity dashboard consolidating all personal and investment assets, liabilities, and cash positions.
  • Monitor cash flow across entities, forecast needs, and identify opportunities to optimize liquidity and capital deployment.
  • Track performance of existing investments, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve returns.
  • Coordinate with external advisors (tax, legal, wealth advisors) to ensure alignment with the overarching wealth strategy.
  • Prepare monthly personal financial summaries synthesizing progress toward wealth goals and investment performance.
  • Build and manage a continuous pipeline of acquisition opportunities across industries, conducting initial screening.
  • Develop investment memos summarizing thesis, risks, and recommendations, and build relationships with brokers and seller networks.
  • Lead diligence workstreams (financial, operational, tax, legal), build and manage data rooms, and ensure documentation alignment.
  • Support deal structuring for tax efficiency and long-term asset protection.
  • Construct detailed financial models, including LBOs, working-capital analyses, debt-service structures, and sensitivity cases.
  • Assess capital stack options and evaluate post-close cash-flow sufficiency and risk exposure.
  • Underwrite multifamily, senior living, and other real estate investment opportunities, building pro formas and acquisition budgets.
  • Create and maintain a unified financial dashboard aggregating business performance, real estate holdings, and debt obligations.
  • Produce monthly investment and performance reports and coordinate reporting across operating companies.
  • Develop 100-day plans for new acquisitions, support KPI development, and monitor performance against underwriting.
  • Assist with tax-planning conversations and review strategies for depreciation, trust structures, and entity optimization.

What We're Looking For

  • 4–8 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, transaction services, management consulting, or a comparable analytical/finance-intensive role.
  • Exceptional financial modeling capability, including LBOs, sensitivity analyses, and multi-scenario planning; able to build from scratch without templates.
  • Experience supporting or leading transaction processes, including sourcing, due diligence, data-room organization, and cross-party coordination.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with financial automation tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.
  • Superb written communication, with the ability to synthesize complex analysis into clear, concise, decision-ready memos and summaries.
  • High degree of discretion and professional integrity to manage confidential financial information.
  • Proven ability to operate in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments with sound judgment and proactive problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfort engaging with external stakeholders, including lenders, attorneys, accountants, and sellers, with professionalism.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to real estate underwriting including multifamily, mixed-use, or operating-business real estate.
