About the Role

Every is hiring a Print Buyer to manage all print buying for U-Haul's corporate office in Phoenix, Arizona, supporting the Chief of Staff of Advertising & Marketing. In this role, you will manage vendor relations, lead bidding and negotiation processes, and handle key administrative tasks.

What You'll Do

  • Interview vendors, obtain competitive bids for major purchases, and negotiate contracts on price, quality, service, and delivery.
  • Consult with Art Directors and Account Executives on quality control and product deficiency situations.
  • Expedite critical items and furnish lead time advice.
  • Execute purchase orders and distribute RFQs/RFPs.
  • Expedite material, update, and communicate procurement status.
  • Participate in supplier development and cost reduction activities.
  • Reconcile payment errors.
  • Work with the Chief of Staff as necessary to run departments.
  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks as needed by the Chief of Staff.
  • At times, purchase other items to be determined.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • A college degree and/or in process of completing within the fields of Art, Advertising, Marketing, and/or Business.
  • Experience with computerized purchasing systems, ERP systems, and SAP.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of administrative duties such as accounting, billing, filing, and maintaining project samples.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to interact with various other departments in relation to A&M projects; a self-starter.
  • A degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or within the fields of Art, Advertising, Marketing, and/or Business, or the equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of purchasing experience.

Nice to Have

  • Manufacturing or Production buying experience.
  • Familiarity with, or the ability to read, blueprints and drawings.
  • A good driving record.
  • A team player who can take direction and work within tight deadlines.
  • Resourceful and able to address needs quickly.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience working with art, advertising, or marketing.
