Responsibilities
- Lead the design of conversational flows for enterprise software applications
- Collaborate with UX researchers to understand user behaviors and pain points
- Develop voice and tone guidelines for chatbot and virtual assistant interactions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity conversation scripts
- Partner with engineering and product management to ensure design feasibility
- Define success metrics for conversational experiences
- Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback
- Mentor junior designers in conversation design best practices
- Stay current with advancements in natural language processing and AI
- Translate complex technical concepts into simple user interactions
- Advocate for user-centered design throughout the development lifecycle
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and executives
- Integrate accessibility standards into conversational interfaces
- Ensure consistency across multiple touchpoints and platforms
- Drive design system contributions for conversational components
- Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction through dialogue design
- Analyze conversation analytics to inform future iterations
- Support localization and internationalization of dialogue content
- Work within agile development environments
- Balance business goals with user needs in design decisions
