Pratt & Whitney (RTX Corporation) is looking for a Principal Specialist, Talent Acquisition to attract world-class talent. You will serve as a subject matter expert, coaching hiring managers through the full recruitment lifecycle and proactively building talent pipelines.
What You'll Do
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers and business partners within RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, and/or Technology & General Engineering.
- Leverage deep business knowledge to act as a thought partner and trusted talent advisor for hiring managers.
- Conduct thorough intake calls to understand requisitions and hiring expectations.
- Coach hiring managers and provide data to help define needs and inform hiring decisions.
- Deliver shortlists of screened, qualified candidates with insights and recommendations.
- Champion the employer brand and drive talent attraction by leveraging your network and creating authentic content.
- Create robust search strategies using sourcing tools to pipeline top talent.
- Ensure a positive candidate and new hire experience through frequent, thorough communication.
- Assess external talent using behavioral and technical evaluation techniques.
- Improve hiring processes using the CORE operating system to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and economic factors to assess the candidate market.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to understand current and future talent needs.
What We're Looking For
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years in full lifecycle recruitment, or an Advanced Degree and minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Experience with data analytics, including the collection, analysis, and presentation of recruitment data to stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- CORE Apprentice Certified.
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting for campus programs, including university talent engagement and facilitating intern events.
- Ability to influence peers, candidates, and stakeholders through quality data, sound decision-making, and executive presence.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak to senior-level executives.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and business aptitude, specifically in partnering with, advising, and influencing executive leadership.
