About the Role

Watts is hiring a Regional Sales Manager, OEM West to drive sales of the unified One Watts product portfolio. As part of the Watts OEM team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies within your region, reporting to the National Sales Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Work with manufacturer’s representatives to educate and direct their sales personnel to drive sales activity.
  • Call on engineers and buyers to secure specifications favoring all Watts products in Marine and OEM applications.
  • Influence customer brand preference and leverage the One Watts package, emphasizing unique and custom products.
  • Identify, track, and manage projects from development through quoting, maintaining close communication with customers and reps.
  • Produce tactical market plans and suggest product strategies to beat the competition.
  • Work with Manufacturer’s Representatives to implement periodic price increases.
  • Develop challenging but reachable sales targets for each rep agency to exceed the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Communicate sales targets, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback and guidance to agencies.
  • Report periodically to the National OEM Sales Manager on market activity, opportunities, risks, and goal progress.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline.
  • At least 7 years of regional or national outside sales experience.
  • Proven ability to work closely with and motivate manufacturer’s representatives to facilitate a team effort.
  • Experience managing long sales cycle campaigns.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • CRM proficiency or experience with automated information reporting tools.
  • Superior organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Ability to present product ideas effectively at all levels.
  • Skill in analyzing and solving problems as they arise, communicating thoroughly with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%.

You will be part of the Watts OEM team, reporting directly to the National Sales Manager.
