Grand Canyon University’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Graduate Mathematics courses in a remote, cohort-based format. This role involves delivering synchronous instruction and mentoring students to foster academic growth.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions in a remote, synchronous environment.
- Engage students in learning course objectives and core mathematics topics.
- Assess student performance and mentor student success in the classroom.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission.
- Teach synchronously via Zoom on Mondays from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Phoenix time for cohort classes.
- Post a weekly lecture to start a topic by Thursday of each week.
