Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX Corporation, is hiring a Principal Specialist, Contract Data Management to manage contractual data requirements and intellectual property protection across programs. This established professional role involves reviewing, tracking, and reporting on data deliverables while ensuring compliance with guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Assess contractual data deliverable requirements at the proposal phase.
- Manage and comply with Contractual Data Deliverable Requirements throughout the life of a program.
- Evaluate contract terms and conditions for Intellectual Property protection and marking.
- Ensure compliance to Collins Intellectual Property and Export Protection Guidelines.
- Maintain historical SDRL submittal records.
- Work closely with multiple internal functions including Program Management, Contracts, Engineering, and Quality to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Participate in Program meetings, reviews, and audits.
- Prepare reporting and statistics related to SDRL requirements and delivery.
- Work with the Program Office on program initiatives.
- Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Perform and/or direct day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Work outside of 'normal' business hours as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in MS O365 Software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat PRO for marking data.
- Basic contract knowledge, i.e. government contracts, SOW, supplier data.
- Basic knowledge of FAR/DFAR clauses.
