Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to define product direction, translating vision into actionable backlog items through discovery, feature mapping, and user story development.
- Convert strategic product goals into a clear roadmap and release plan, prioritizing backlog items to maximize customer value and leading planning discussions for clarity and alignment.
- Engage in sprint planning to help define team objectives for each iteration and support development through real-time input during daily stand-ups.
- Support sprint reviews by demonstrating completed features and participate in retrospectives to enhance team collaboration and workflow efficiency.
- Contribute to program increment planning by helping define business outcomes, objectives, and value delivery for larger initiatives.
- Oversee feature performance and usage post-release, serving as the primary contact for feedback, issues, and improvement suggestions.
- Advocate for high-quality solutions by contributing to test strategies and validating that deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Conduct regular reviews with internal teams and external customers throughout the product lifecycle to ensure ongoing alignment on requirements and discovery efforts.
- Ensure end-to-end ownership of the product, including maintenance, sustainability, and continuous improvement across all layers of the solution.
- Drive alignment between development teams, business units, and customers to ensure timely delivery of features and resolution of defects in line with business goals.
- Collaborate with peer product owners to establish and promote consistent practices and standards across product teams.
- Identify and prioritize essential product documentation in coordination with relevant stakeholders and team members.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with product management, technology, functional teams, third-party partners, customer support, marketing, and commercial clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during planning events, providing clarification on user stories and ensuring shared understanding across teams.
- Ensure the product backlog is well-groomed, sequenced, and loaded into tracking tools with clear acceptance criteria and detailed requirements.
- Lead backlog prioritization using feature mapping and value-based sequencing to guide development focus.
- Support product discovery and definition phases by facilitating collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through active participation in agile ceremonies and cross-functional feedback loops.
- Ensure alignment between product delivery and organizational objectives through consistent stakeholder engagement.
- Perform additional duties as required or assigned by leadership.
