NXP is hiring a Principal Product Security Certification Expert to drive security evaluation and certification for our secure products, including Secure Elements, MCUs, and MPUs. You will act as the key technical interface between our internal teams and external evaluators, certification bodies, and standardization groups.
What You'll Do
- Drive security evaluation and certification for secure products (e.g., Secure Element, MCU, MPU) in the context of schemes like Common Criteria, EMVCo, FIPS 140-3, SESIP, and PSA.
- Drive definition of security certification schemes for emerging embedded security markets like IoT and Automotive.
- Drive definition of product-related security standards in public and private Standardization bodies like CEN/CENELEC, ETSI, GlobalPlatform, and GSMA.
- Act as technical interface between internal teams and technical evaluators from evaluation labs and certification bodies.
- Liaise with external consultants and international working groups and legislators defining the security certification landscape.
- Contribute to the technical certification and evaluation strategy for emerging businesses.
What We're Looking For
- Master degree in Security/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telematics, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.
- Experience with security evaluations & certifications (e.g., FIPS 140-2, Common Criteria, EMVCo, IEC 62443, EN 17927, ISO 21434).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the domain of security and embedded devices.
- Driving and result oriented personality.
- Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivated and self-driven.
- Well organized and good at time management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Presentation and clear messaging are a must.
Nice to Have
- A PhD would be an asset.
- Automotive knowledge would be an asset.
- System on Chip and Security Microcontrollers knowledge would be an asset.
