The Principal Product Manager (Team Growth) at Tactiq.io will lead the design and optimization of the growth engine that transforms individual users into high-performing teams and drives monetization. Reporting to the CEO, this role owns the full user journey in a remote-friendly, AI-driven environment focused on product-led growth.
What You'll Do
- Architect the growth engine that turns individual users into high-performing teams and teams into paying customers
- Own the complete user journey: from first transcript to team formation to monetization
- Work across the entire product surface including activation flows, collaboration features, monetization mechanics, and viral loops
- Define what 'aha' moments look like for users
- Determine how teams form organically within the product
- Design frictionless monetization strategies
- Design and optimize the end-to-end user journey from acquisition through monetization
- Build viral loops and network effects around team collaboration
- Define activation moments and create compounding growth mechanisms
- Run disciplined experiments using Mixpanel/Amplitude to identify growth drivers
- Prototype solutions with AI tools (Claude, Cursor, v0) to validate ideas quickly
- Turn insights into shipped features within days, not weeks
- Bridge product strategy with engineering, design, and marketing teams
- Build frameworks and best practices that elevate the entire team
- Influence as an individual contributor (IC)
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in product management, particularly in growth or team collaboration domains
- Deep understanding of user journey design from acquisition to monetization
- Experience building viral loops and network effects in product
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using Mixpanel or Amplitude for experimentation
- Ability to rapidly prototype and validate ideas using modern AI tools
- Experience shipping product features quickly based on data-driven insights
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing
- Experience defining activation moments and 'aha' experiences in SaaS products
- Track record of influencing without authority as an individual contributor
Nice to Have
- Experience in product-led growth (PLG) SaaS companies
- Background in AI-powered productivity tools or collaboration software
- Prior work in early-stage or Series A startups
- Familiarity with Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams integrations
