Reddit seeks a Principal Product Designer to shape the strategic vision and lead design of innovative, intuitive tools for its Ads Platform. You will define the long-term design vision for the Advertiser Platform, translating complex ideas into scalable solutions and guiding efforts toward AI-driven automation.
What You'll Do
- Define the long-term design vision and lead the design strategy of Reddit’s Advertiser Platform, balancing complexity with simplicity and usability.
- Stay informed about the latest ad technologies and design trends, and lead efforts to conceptualize non-obvious initiatives.
- Translate complex ideas into scalable, intuitive design solutions that elevate the user experience for advertisers and account managers at scale.
- Take the lead at every stage of the design lifecycle from ideation to delivery, ensuring high-quality execution.
- Deeply understand the diverse needs of advertisers across market segments and verticals, and translate insights into impactful design solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and UX researchers, driving consensus and communicating design ideas to senior leadership.
- Cultivate a culture of learning and growth within the design team, fostering collaboration and developing the next generation of design talent.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of UX/UI design experience, with deep expertise in enterprise-scale platforms.
- Proven track record of navigating complex systems solving challenging and nuanced design problems.
- Significant experience (3+ years) in high-impact strategic initiatives.
- Ability to tell user-based stories that make the complex more simple.
- Strong history of persuasion balanced with inclusivity and a learning mindset.
- A portfolio demonstrating an exceptional ability to distill difficult challenges into intuitive interfaces.
- History of delivering scalable design systems that empower users to manage sophisticated automated logic and high-stakes business processes.
- Visionary thinking seasoned with execution and detailed experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to leveling up the design org, with a history of nurturing talent and fostering a culture of experimentation.
- Track record of industry-leading work and impactful product launches.
- Quantifiable evidence of how designs have moved the needle on company-wide KPIs and shaped the long-term trajectory of global platforms.
