Responsibilities
- Create dynamic, primarily online learning programs using a blend of written materials, video, graphics, interactive elements, and group-based exercises.
- Convert advanced concepts and expert insights into digestible, multimedia learning modules that are engaging, inclusive, and effective for international audiences.
- Work hand-in-hand with producers, product teams, and marketing specialists to guide learning programs from initial concept to final launch, including narrative development, approvals, and platform integration.
- Lead research and content creation efforts, such as selecting topics and collaborators, interviewing experts, analyzing findings, and defining learning goals and curriculum structure from start to finish.
- Support ongoing enhancements after launch by analyzing learner feedback, assisting with learner needs when necessary, and updating materials to improve the learning journey.
Compensation
This contract position is compensated at a rate equivalent to an annual salary of $70,000–$90,000 USD. Final offers may vary based on candidate experience, location, and other factors.
Work Arrangement
While office space is available in Chicago, Cambridge, or San Francisco, remote work is fully supported.
Team
This role will collaborate with a team distributed across three U.S. time zones and serve a global community of learners.
Design Assignment
Candidates will review a raw expert interview (20–30 minutes) on a topic of their choice and deliver two items: a written lesson (such as a short article or 1–2 page video script) teaching one key concept, and a brief hands-on activity for learners to apply that concept.
