What You'll Do
Shape the future of core data workflows within a large-scale cloud platform by partnering with product and engineering teams to define long-term design direction. Use design thinking to uncover user needs, test assumptions, and guide decisions that center on real user behavior and business impact.
Lead the exploration of design solutions through iterative concept development, balancing user goals, technical constraints, and system-wide effects. Conduct research with users and stakeholders to understand how people interact with data, then translate findings into clear, actionable design strategies.
Develop high-fidelity prototypes and detailed mockups to communicate ideas and support fast, effective iteration. Work alongside engineers to define specifications, support implementation, and validate outcomes within Agile development cycles. Help evolve the organization’s design system—especially in data visualization—while promoting consistent, scalable design practices.
Investigate how AI-powered tools can improve design efficiency, from generative prototyping to intelligent layout suggestions. Collaborate across disciplines to integrate AI-driven features into user workflows in ways that maintain trust, clarity, and usability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human–Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in product, UX, or interaction design
- Proven ability to solve complex interface problems—demonstrated through a strong design portfolio
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for enterprise SaaS platforms with multi-step data processes
- Background in document, data, or content management systems
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams
- Ability to turn research insights into effective design choices
- Familiarity with desktop and web UX implementation challenges
- Proficiency in Figma and FigJam
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered design tools such as generative prototyping or research pattern detection
- Understanding of how AI features influence transparency, trust, and workflow efficiency
Technical Environment
Design and prototyping are centered around Figma and FigJam, supported by AI-assisted tools, user research platforms, and a mature design system (Aero). Work follows Agile methodologies, with close integration between design, product, and engineering.
