ServiceNow is hiring a Principal Platform Architect - Federal to join the Customer Outcomes team. In this highly consultative role, you will help federal customers establish a strong technical foundation on the ServiceNow Platform and design solutions that drive business outcomes. You will guide both partner and customer resources to achieve their goals through leading practices.
What You'll Do
- Develop strong relationships with C-suite and business leaders to understand the client’s vision and translate business objectives into outcomes through a visual customer roadmap.
- Interact with customer architecture personnel to analyze business information, translate technical requirements into architectural blueprints, and position ServiceNow as the system of action.
- Establish and advise on technical governance related domains and associated processes.
- Drive solid platform health by reviewing and guiding the remediation of configurations not aligned to ServiceNow leading practices.
- Advocate/champion ServiceNow’s advisory leading practices and industry use cases with clients.
- Contribute thought leadership on how advisory and co-delivery can optimize customer outcomes.
- Guide customers down a prescriptive solution design and manage through technical implementation decision points.
- Define solutions across the platform that align to delivered capabilities.
What We're Looking For
- Federal Experience required.
- Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting leadership roles at a top-tier consulting company focused on technology.
- 5+ years large program experience leading architecture and design.
- Experience working with functional business leaders to identify business objectives and develop outcome-focused roadmaps.
- Enterprise or Solution Architect role and/or relevant experience.
- Experience in implementation of one or more cloud-based systems such as SalesForce, Workday, AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
- Customer focus, collaborative, results driven, and cultivates innovation.
- Translates requirements to demonstrate value.
- Executive level communication skills and consultative perspective.
- Thrives in complexity and has a strategic mindset.
- Software Development background.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Travel up to 50%.
Nice to Have
- CTA/CMA highly preferred.
- Skills preferred: SecOps, IRM/GRC/CAM, ITOM, ITSM, Core Platform.
- Certifications preferred: CSA, CAD, CIS certifications.
- Management Consulting Experience preferred (Big 4, Strategy Firm) or OEM software or Cloud company.
- Fortune 500 or OEM Software or Cloud Company enterprise architect experience.
- Career progression (Technical, Architecture).
- Experience guiding large Consulting/SI organizations.
- Data modeling, core data design, security, integrations, configuration management.
- 1-2 years of ServiceNow Platform Experience is desired but not required.
- Cloud platform experience desired.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Platforms.
