Responsibilities
- Design and lead the implementation of the Integrated Sales & Operations Planning (ISOP) process.
- Set up planning governance, timing, and required inputs to align demand, supply, and commercial goals consistently.
- Lead the creation of unified demand and supply plans, including scenario modeling and trade-off assessments to guide decisions.
- Manage demand planning in line with seasonal application periods, regional sales strategies, and market development goals.
- Ensure demand forecasts are reliable, practical, and matched to operational capacity.
- Convert commercial objectives around pricing, volume, and market focus into executable demand, inventory, and supply plans.
- Support volume and product allocation planning based on commercial priorities and supply limitations.
- Serve as the main link between commercial and operations teams to align planning with execution.
- Coordinate supply and input planning to match demand and production capabilities.
- Identify and manage risks tied to supply constraints, throughput, and operational limits.
- Improve cost-to-serve by refining planning assumptions, inventory placement, and value chain alignment.
- Ensure planning supports customer segmentation, strategic accounts, and market access strategies.
- Enable differentiated service levels through targeted inventory and supply planning.
- Clarify trade-offs between service levels, costs, and supply availability.
- Develop coordinated volume and distribution plans with the Logistics Manager, aligning demand, supply, and logistics execution.
- Ensure planning outputs are feasible within logistics limits, including shipping and warehouse capacity.
- Collaborate to maintain smooth product flow and service delivery, especially during high-demand periods.
- Define and track key planning performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, service levels, volume delivery, and inventory metrics.
- Deliver structured insights and recommendations to enhance planning performance and reduce risks.
- Promote consistency, discipline, and transparency in all planning activities.
- Identify and execute improvements in ISOP, demand planning, and integrated planning workflows.
- Build planning frameworks that scale with business growth and remain fit for purpose.
- Encourage the use of planning tools, dashboards, and standardized methods.
- Prepare planning functions for future growth and expanded product offerings.
- Ensure planning systems can adapt and scale as product complexity increases over time.
