Nagarro is hiring a Principal Engineer / Salesforce Business Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Conduct exploratory workshops with manufacturing clients to grasp their strategic goals, sales and service frameworks, distribution channels, and critical performance indicators.
  • Evaluate existing CRM and legacy systems, pinpoint deficiencies, and establish a Salesforce-focused target state.
  • Create CRM transformation plans using Salesforce as the core platform, detailing phases, scope, and implementation strategy.
  • Reengineer comprehensive business processes, such as Lead-to-Opportunity-to-Order, Quote-to-Cash, Key Account Management, After-Sales & Service, Warranty, Field Service, and Partner/Dealer Management, in line with Salesforce best practices.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on CRM strategy, governance, and operational models.
  • Oversee the entire Salesforce solution architecture for manufacturing CRM projects, primarily involving Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other relevant clouds.
  • Define data structures, object relationships, security protocols, environment strategies, and integration methods with ERP, MES, PLM, pricing engines, and other systems.
  • Develop solution blueprints, high-level designs, and effort estimates, ensuring designs are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Salesforce best practices and platform limits.
  • Guide functional consultants and technical teams during project execution, reviewing user stories, configurations, and customizations for alignment with the solution design.
  • Develop internal accelerators, templates, and industry-specific assets for manufacturing CRM.
  • Collaborate with sales and account teams to assess opportunities and define solution and delivery strategies.
  • Lead customized Salesforce demonstrations for manufacturing scenarios, such as key account planning, complex opportunity management, CPQ quoting flows, warranty and service flows, dealer/distributor portals, and field service scenarios.
  • Prepare solution presentations, architecture overviews, and walkthroughs for client meetings, including oral RFP defenses.
  • Translate RFP/RFI requirements into Salesforce-based solutions, clearly outlining scope, approach, and assumptions.
  • Build and present the business case and ROI for CRM transformation, linking Salesforce capabilities to commercial and operational outcomes.
  • Advise clients on CRM governance, operating models, and Salesforce roles.
  • Support the definition of role-based Salesforce usage models for various user types.
  • Contribute to change, communication, and training plans, and help design KPIs and dashboards to monitor CRM adoption and performance.
  • Promote data quality and disciplined CRM usage to ensure reliable reporting and analytics.
  • Act as the design authority for one or more projects, ensuring consistency across workstreams and vendors.
  • Participate in and sometimes lead key Agile ceremonies, clarifying requirements and validating sprint outcomes.
  • Identify and address risks and issues related to solution design, scope, or integration early, proposing mitigation options.
  • Support UAT planning, test scenario definition for end-to-end CRM flows, go-live readiness assessment, and hyper care.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in CRM transformation projects, with a focus on Salesforce implementation.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing industry processes and Salesforce best practices.
  • Strong leadership and advisory skills, with the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in designing and implementing CRM solutions, including data modeling, security, and integration.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and project management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Experience in conducting workshops, demos, and client presentations.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and integration patterns.
  • Ability to build and articulate business cases and ROI for CRM transformations.
  • Experience in defining CRM governance, operating models, and role-based usage models.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect).
  • Experience with Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud, Field Service, Revenue Cloud/CPQ, and CRM Analytics.
  • Background in manufacturing industry processes and systems (e.g., ERP, MES, PLM).
  • Experience in leading Agile ceremonies and managing project workstreams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Experience in conducting UAT planning, test scenario definition, and go-live readiness assessments.
  • Knowledge of change, communication, and training plans, and the ability to design meaningful KPIs and dashboards.
  • Experience in promoting data quality and disciplined CRM usage to ensure reliable reporting and analytics.
  • Ability to serve as a design authority for multiple projects, ensuring coherence across workstreams and vendors.
