NTT DATA is looking for a Principal Consultant to lead strategic client engagements within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. You will drive transformation, digital innovation, and operational excellence for senior stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a strategic partner to C-suite stakeholders.
- Lead workshops, diagnostics, and roadmap development for business transformation.
- Develop bespoke solutions across digital banking, regulatory compliance, risk, data analytics, and customer experience.
- Guide implementation teams and oversee program execution to ensure measurable outcomes.
- Identify and cultivate new opportunities within BFSI clients.
- Support proposal creation and pitch delivery in collaboration with sales teams.
- Guide the identification of client requirements and oversee value assessments and business process analysis.
- Publish articles, speak at industry events, and contribute to market-facing content on BFSI trends.
- Attend industry and technical conferences to remain abreast of developments in their area of expertise.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across consulting, technology, and operations.
- Mentor junior consultants and foster talent development within the practice.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
- 12–15+ years of experience in consulting and/or BFSI industry
- Proven success in delivering digital transformation, operational optimization, or compliance programs
- Strong knowledge of core BFSI systems, fintech innovation, and regulatory environments
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and client management skill
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Fortune 500 financial institutions
- Experience working with multinational financial institutions and navigating cross-border regulatory requirements
- Exposure to AI/ML, blockchain, cloud, or cybersecurity solutions in financial domain
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity frameworks tailored to BFSI operations
