The Principal Consultant - AI Infrastructure Services plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the Program Office for Dell Technologies' most strategic customers. This position drives AI transformation by ensuring seamless integration of complex, multi-year IT programs with ROI-driven deployments across global Cloud Service Providers and key AI-focused enterprises.
What You'll Do
- Lead the establishment of program governance as well as lead the delivery Quality Assurance to ensure quality artifacts and deliverables.
- Oversee projects in his/her portfolio and lead project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and to satisfaction of the customer, Dell Technologies, and our trusted partners.
- Establish and manage RAID, change control, and communication of status to both Customer and Dell Technologies Leadership.
- Act as single point of contact for all executive/management communication for the projects and programs under your leadership to ensure strong and seamless relationships by maintaining communications about the project portfolio and all the initiatives to all the stakeholders: customers, management, sales and delivery personnel.
- Act as role model, provide feedback and coaching to team members and earn trusted advisor status of our customer, gaining trust, mind, and wallet share.
What We're Looking For
- Mastery of Program and Project Delivery methods
- Successful track record in complex IT services delivery program management (multi-customer, multi-site, multi-project, multi-year).
- Demonstrated mastery of operating in complex, matrix environment; experience in managing regionally distributed groups as well as demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively with multiple levels of management across many cross-functional teams.
- Internal and external thought leadership.
- Previous experience operating in a global environment as well as self-motivated, hands on approach with an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
- Soloist, Team Player and Leader, Business Problem-Solver, 15+ years of successive growth in leadership of projects, programs, consulting
- Omni-Mode, Omni-Channel Communicator with an uncommon level of grit and determination to achieve the outcome
