This role leads the design and execution of comprehensive communication strategies to advance initiatives in human and community development, focusing on content creation, media engagement, and brand consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans aligned with program goals
  • Create compelling content for reports, websites, press materials, and presentations
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for media and public inquiries
  • Collaborate with research and technical teams to translate complex findings into accessible language
  • Manage editorial processes for publications and policy briefs
  • Lead messaging development for diverse audiences including policymakers and community stakeholders
  • Oversee branding and communication standards across projects
  • Coordinate with external partners to amplify outreach efforts
  • Monitor media trends and public discourse related to human and community development
  • Support crisis communication planning when needed
  • Organize and lead communication workshops and training sessions
  • Track and report on communication performance metrics
  • Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all communication materials
  • Manage timelines and deliverables for communication campaigns
  • Provide guidance on visual design and multimedia content
