Responsibilities
- Determine the technical boundaries and key deliverables for project phases
- Lead the architectural vision for your workstream, making critical design choices and documenting decisions to ensure long-term maintainability
- Ensure high standards in code quality, system design, and overall technical execution across the team
- Contribute directly to production code across layers of the stack, setting a benchmark through hands-on involvement
- Design and implement AI and large language model features in client systems, including agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and smart automation tools
- Identify potential technical obstacles early and communicate mitigation plans to prevent delays
- Engage in discussions to define project scope and technical approach for new and ongoing client engagements
- Develop and test new ideas quickly, using prototypes to validate concepts
- Promote knowledge transfer both during and after client projects
- Act as the primary technical liaison for your workstream, advising client engineering leadership on architecture and risk
- Establish strong, collaborative relationships with client technical stakeholders
- Spot opportunities to enhance engineering practices and lead improvements in technical quality
- Support business growth through participation in sales discussions and proposal development
- Be accountable for the technical success and output of your team
- Provide monthly performance input for team engineers in coordination with the Delivery Lead
- Coach engineers by working through complex problems, reviewing designs, and delivering actionable feedback
- Break down intricate projects into manageable tasks to enable clear execution
