State Street is hiring a Primary System Analyst to deliver expert, client-facing technical management for our Charles River Investment Management System (IMS) Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. You will manage production systems for multiple clients, ensuring application performance, availability, and seamless service delivery.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with clients, providing expert-level remote management, administration, and support for their production Charles River IMS solutions.
- Assist clients in optimal use of the system and manage user administration and privileges.
- Handle parameter configuration changes, ensure system availability, and perform application and database performance tuning.
- Monitor and support daily operational processing, including applying software patches and executing system version upgrades.
- Assist with problem support and resolution, and provide Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery assistance.
- Work with Charles River colleagues to smoothly transition new clients to production operation.
- Partner with vendors to deliver a tightly integrated, seamless service.
- Participate in the development and ongoing refinement of service processes and implement third-party tools to enhance and automate service delivery.
- Provide periodic out-of-hours and weekend support, and occasionally travel to customer sites for planning and review meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Proven ability to partner with various internal departments to deliver superior customer service.
- Experience in MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or Sybase database configuration, operations, and basic administration functions.
- Excellent customer service skills, technical troubleshooting skills, and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A minimum of 3+ years’ relevant industry experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Financial Services Investment Management, Trading, or related systems, such as Charles River IMS.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical discipline like Computer Science, IT, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Science, Economics, Maths, or Statistics.
- Experience with servers, operating systems, networks, scripting, XML, programming languages, job scheduling software, system monitoring software, and disaster recovery/business continuity.
