What You'll Do
Drive research and development for an advanced insulin therapy solution by analyzing device configurations, user behavior, system failures, and clinical results. Collaborate with IT and multidisciplinary teams to define data pipelines and build scalable storage architectures. Create and refine data preprocessing workflows to ensure high-quality inputs for modeling.
Design and deploy machine learning algorithms that recommend personalized insulin pump settings. Translate technical findings into clear, strategic insights for stakeholders across the organization. Guide junior engineers through best practices in data science and software development. Contribute to the evolution of the platform as a key member of the early-stage technical team.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of professional or research experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or statistical inference
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Matlab
- Strong command of SQL and experience with relational databases including Oracle, Teradata, or Microsoft SQL Server
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining alignment with leadership and project goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Background in healthcare or medical device technology
- Experience with C/C++, C#, or Java
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence platforms like Tableau, Spotfire, or Cognos
- Understanding of software engineering principles and development lifecycle practices
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based in Guadalajara, requiring at least three days per week on-site at the company office.
