Univar Solutions is hiring a Pricing Specialist to support our Ingredients & Specialties business in Central America. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the correct execution of our pricing strategy, monitoring results, identifying deviations, and supporting sales teams to capture margin growth opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Drive pricing governance and strategy execution, proactively identifying deviations, risks, and opportunities for optimization while recommending corrective actions.
- Analyze market and data trends to provide the best pricing guidance to fulfill customer protocols.
- Partner closely with in-house teams such as sales, product and finance to troubleshoot and resolve pricing issues.
- Analyze and track key pricing performance metrics, including discounts, margins, profitability, and price realization across customers, products, and market segments.
- Guide customer requirement and commercialization process across all pricing touch-points initiatives including new product launches.
- Provide leadership, within the commercial leadership team on the pricing strategy to deliver margin enhancing growth.
- Serve as a partner to the Sales team and facilitate data-driven discussions, prioritizing high-impact pricing and margin opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Pricing, Financial Analysis, Business Analysis, Finance, Accounting, Accounts Receivable or Billing.
- General knowledge of margin and profitability analysis, scenario simulations and financial analysis.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building collaborative relationships.
- Full English Proficiency.
- Advanced Excel skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
